I attended what I could live, and I have access to the rest of the amazing video replays throughout the month of August. There are so many helpful workshops and opportunities for writers via SCBWI. I was super thankful for the collaborative peer critique group. Children need diverse books on a wide range of topics, with realistic characters, and well-researched material. That doesn’t happen overnight.
I have always wanted to attend this annual conference. My husband gave me the registration fee as my Christmas present. Yes, it’s August, but he hates to shop!
